Biography

Mohamed Abd El-Salam was born in Cairo, Egypt on 17th of September 1978. He had graduated from Faculty of Commerce, Cairo, Egypt in 1999, after which he obtained an Accounting Diploma in Ain Shams University in 2005, as well as a MBA degree (Master of Business Administration) from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport, Cairo, Egypt.

Along with many soft-skills courses that enrich Mohamed’s ability to work well with others, understanding human needs and human behavior are his great virtues.
Mohamed has around 21 years of experience dealing with customers as a sales agent, and has been promoted step by step to Account Manager, Senior Account Manager and finally, Sales Unit Manager in 2020.

Mohamed aims to create the perfect healthy work environment, and spreads this sprit to all whom surround him, and he is also very well organized and very punctual. His long experience in dealing with others enlarges his ability to understand well how to deal smoothly with different ages and minds, and along with creating healthy environment between people around him, it has allowed Mohamed to open one of the largest Martial arts academy in Egypt.

Mohamed was fascinated by martial arts since he was a very young man, he practiced many forms of martial arts in order to enrich his passion. He started his self-defense career as a Taekwondo played in 1990s, and obtained 1st place in taekwondo over all Cairo and was awarded the gold medal.


Professional experience

• Started training Kong-Fu at 2005, and obtained 3rd place in Kong-Fu over all Egypt and was awarded the bronze medal.
• Started training Traditional Aikido in 2014 with Sensei/ Mamdouh Bakkar that mixed Japanese Aikido with Jeet Kune Do, Wing Chun and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, a new powerful and effective Aikido mix.
• He obtained the black belt in Aikido from the Egyptian Federation in 2016 and obtained special courses to preparing and refining trainers that were held under the supervision of the Egyptian Federation in 2017 and became an official Trainer (Sensei) for Aikido in Egypt.
• Mohamed worked as an Aikido assistant trainer (Senpai) for Sensei/Mamdouh Bakkar from 2016 till he founded his own Academy (Tigers Academy) in May 2017.
• He started his own academy with one branch in 2017 till his academy became one of the largest academies in Egypt with 4 branches and over 150 players in 2019.
• Tigers Academy become one of authorized Aikido and martial arts academies in Egypt by Egyptian Federation since 2017

Mohamed’s career in Aikido he obtained a lot of championship rankings all over Egypt such as:

• 3rd place in Egyptian championship for Orange belt in 2014
• 1st place in Egyptian championship for blue belt in 2015
• 2nd place in Egyptian championship black belt players in 2016
• 1st place in Egyptian black belt players championship in 2017
• 1st place in Egyptian masters’ championship in 2018 and 2019.

Mohamed Abd El-Salam is the founder of Tigers Academy for mixed martial arts. His academy upgraded its ranking starting from 3rd place in Egyptian Championship in 2017 and was awarded with the 3rd place cup (18 Golden Medals, 2 Silver Medals and 1 bronze medal), then to the 2nd rank in Egyptian championship in 2018 with more than 70 various medals, and finally became one of the most competitive academies in 2019, by obtaining 2nd place with only 1 medal behind from the first place (over 102 Various medals).

Because of the healthy spirit in Tigers Academy and Mohamed’s views to attract the most eligible trainers, Tigers Academy became the favorite academy for kids, youth and adults for all gender (males and females) and all ages (from 4 to 60 years). Also, martial art sports in Tigers academy became a family sport, it is normal to see a whole family train together in Tigers Academy. Tigers Academy with this vision became not just a sports academy, but a family for every player, allowing them to enjoy their time in it, and look forward to develop themselves in training and in personal life. Tigers Academy Trainers played the role of a second father and mother to their players, which is why the environment in Tigers Academy is so attractive.

In 2019 IFSRA has lunched Real Aikido in Egypt, and Mohamed was one of the first Trainers in Egypt that obtained IFSRA international Trainers certification and became officially authorized as a trainer from both Egyptian federation and IFSRA. In 2020 Mohamed was recognized by IFSRA to be Egypt Real Aikido Technical Director and to be one of IFSRA Egypt board of directors.
