Biography

Sergii Usenko was born on February 7th 1965 in Kiev, Ukraine. He started his career in martial arts back in 1980 practicing karate shotokan style with master Titirov M.I. In 1983-1984 Sergii learned karate kyokushinkai style from master Krilov V.I, practiced kung-fu and for the first time got introduced to aikido. From 1984 to 1986 Sergii served in Ukrainian special forces (border patrol troops).

He then continued practicing karate from 1987 to 1989. In September 2004 Sergii started practicing Real Aikido under the guidance of Kasiyanok V.M in the “Ariston” Club, Kiev. He gained a wide professional and personal experience as a trainer by participating in seminars, trainings and certifications under the supervision of Grand Master - Lubomir Vracherevich, 10th Dan, SOKE and his best students – Radoitsa Spasovic, Branko Brescanski, Volodimir Vokich and Igor Petrovich in Serbia, Ukraine and Russia.

In 2007 he started teaching Real Aikido to children and adult groups in Kiev. In 2011 Sergii received Master’s Degree in Physical Education from National Pedagogical Dragomanov University. In December 2011 he founded Ukrainian Center of Real Aikido, where he has been training adults and children since.

On March 17, 2012 he successfully passed the test and received the certification in 1st Dan from the founder of Real Aikido Lubomir Vracharevich. On April 29, 2018 he certified for 2nd Dan with Branko Brescanski. Sergii organized trainings for children and adults throughout Ukraine (Kiev, Feodosia, Zaporozhe, Pavlograd) and cooperated with other aikido clubs practicing this style. He teaches classic Real Aikido style along with boxing, karate, jiu-jitsu and techniques with weapons (stick, knife, gun). From May 2017 Ukrainian Center of Real Aikido successfully cooperates with IFSRA.
